This is what Lil Silva thinks about his record

“There are a lot of producers making different tracks to their usual sound, but they don’t

put them out there because they’re too worried what people will think”

“But that’s I want to hear. I have no idea how people are going to take this record. But

this is precious. This is me”

Azealia banks is finally back in the rap game. Yesterday she released the video for self-released single Heavy Metal And Reflective, directed by Rob Soucy and Nick Ace.
The video was filmed earlier this summer, in the desert outside LA.

Video features biker gangs, barking dogs, Banks performing in a desert and trying to wiggle out of a kidnapping from a biker gang.

Watch the video below.

The video has kind of symbolic of Azealia getting of the label.
Azealia was released from her contract with Interscope/Polydor in July. She was signed for over two years, but they did not release her long awaited album, Broke With Expensive Taste.
Banks hopes to release those songs on her own label, and finally move on.

“For awhile it was like, ‘What is she doing? She’s here, she’s there, she’s doing this, she’s saying this. When is the album coming out?’ So I’m really happy to get this project off. Cause I’ve already started working on a bunch of new stuff. I’m still connected to the [Broke With Expensive Taste] music, but I’m still somewhere else, with these other projects, because I know how quickly I like to move and my fan base likes to move. So I’m halfway, like one foot in Broke With Expensive Taste and one foot in the next project, and having all these other ideas. But I’m just happy that I can do whatever I want now.”
Said Azealia Banks.
